Bun in the oven!

The Tasty Tacy's now have a bun in the oven!
we-are-having-baby-announcement-36 Cayla really has not been too sick. Which I hear may mean there is good chance it is going to be a boy. She really only had a solid week of throwing up or feeling sick at night.
Now we ge t
we-are-having-baby-announcement-38gamer-birth-announcementIn fact you can be so geeky that most people won't really understand it.
For all you nerds out there.

This is how we told our families for mothers day.

MothersDay from James Tacy on Vimeo.

Funny thing is we are not the only ones pregnant. My sister Alex and My sister Samantha are also pregnant. All three girls are due at the beginning of January. Alex had a honeymoon baby and Samantha heard we were trying and immediately got off birth control and became pregnant as fast as Sam Squared could produce. I hope the baby comes the latest December 31st because the accountant in me wants them tax deductions amplified by being the first born with the first grandchild. Its natural. right?

I am trying to convince Cayla jo to consider the name Jefferson Grantonian Tacy. She is settling for Jeffery Grant Tacy. Which is the names of the grandpa's. I am named after my two grandpa's and I always thought that was nice. If its a girl we have been thinking Madison James or Madison Fratrose(Vratrose). The later name is taking too much convincing.

For the second kid if a boy I want to work in Zach, Jake, Scoooooottt and fratrose. Maybe do a spanish name where its all the names..... I like these names since I have been friends with them since we started college back in the day. They are some of my best friends. If its a girl I always liked Heather and Ashley's name. These two have been some of my best friends since seminary started. We have had a lot of fun together. To me even as middle names it would be awesome.

I guess we will see though.See if any names stick.

600 days

Almost 2 years ago today I met the charming John James ( as he introduced himself) and we've had such a journey. I was thinking about all of the great and not so great things we've done since we've met and decided they deserve a little more than a mere back glance, thus here we have a post dedicated to the 600 days that are James and Cayla.

Back to it!

Setting it straight...
THE BLOG: DON'T MATTA

Don't Matta is James old blog... ha! yup James is a closet blogger! (or well used to be) he is actually fantastic with computers and enjoyed blogging once upon a time. He used to blog about fun things he did with his friends and how stupid stuff happens but it "don't matta" because something good always comes from the bad in the end, it's James way of putting a positive spin on the negative junk life throws at us all; that's what drew me to James in the beginning, his "don't matta" attitude. Now he has helped me out by rescuing me from my own blogging and pessimistic misfortune... my blogging skills have not quite been up to par with James and he has insisted that we become one-  I guess that happens when you get married and start sharing a closet (or grandma's storage room ha!) in any case the distinct flavor of "Don't Matta" has been thrown into the mixing bowl, combined with a new spunk of flavor, revived and flambeed! Oh waiter!  "DON'T MATTA FOR 2" please! the Tasty Tacy duo! (disclaimer: this is by no means a cooking blog, but occasionally there may be some lemon-aid when life throws us something sour!)
